Don't get caught on April Fools Day

Don't get caught on April Fools Day.
Don't be a Fool
Don't be a Fool
April Fools Day  is celebrated every year on the first day of April as a day when people play practical jokes and hoaxes on each other. The jokes and their victims are known as "April fools". Many stories may be reported by the press and other media on this day and explained on subsequent days. Popular since the early 1800's, the day is not a national holiday in any country, but it is well known in United States, Canada, Europe, Australia, and Brazil .
The earliest recorded Hoax between 1 April and foolishness can be found in Chaucer's The Canterbury Tales (1392). Some author's suggest that the restoration of 1 January as New Year's Day in the 16th century was responsible for the creation of the holiday, but this theory does not explain earlier references.
Remember: Don't get caught on April Fools Day.

Spring Time in Arizona

Well Spring Time in Arizona is different than the rest of the country. We love March April and May (not so much July and August)
Is it Hot Outside
Is it Hot Outside
I was born in Florida, but my parents moved to California when I was only 2. I have no idea how hard it is"Mentally" to live in a cold environment. One of my brothers (who was born and raised in Cally) lives in Maryland. I send him reports throughout the winter to let him know how nice it is here, knowing how bad it is in Maryland. (I will send him this link as well)
Just so you know we do have 4 season's in Arizona.   ψ
Cool (Winter) Normal highs in the mid to upper 60's. You can always spot the winter visitors with their shorts and sandals
Warm (spring and fall) High 70's or mid 80's 3% humidity.
HOT: (Late spring) April May June High's in the 100's Hottest Day in Phoenix June 26th 1990. Hottest day in Arizona was in Lake Havasu on June 29, 1994, and also occurred on July 5, 2007. If you are driving to California to escape the heat. Do it in the early am or at night. If you break down, good luck.
Really Fricking Hot (July and August) Sometimes referred to as "WHAT WAS I THINKING". High humity 30% and 105-110 at sunrise it is sometimes 90°. The only good thing is the summer storms and Camping in the High Country.
So remember: We love the Winter and Spring Time in Arizona, we all hate the summer. (yes everyone)
Here are some of the current Hot Listings in Chandler. Enjoy.

What will you be doing for PI DAY (03.14.15..........)

I will celebrate  π (PI) doing 3 things.

#.1) Celebrate that we can draw circles thanks to this GREAT number.

Einstien Pi Day
Einstien Pi Day
Because of its ability helps to define the circle, π is found in many formula in trigonometry and geometry, especially those concerning circles, ellipses or spheres. It is also found in formula used in other parts of science such as number theorystatisticsfractalsthermodynamicsmechanics and electromagnetism. The uniqueness of π makes it one of the most widely known mathematical constants both in and out of the scientific community: Several books devoted to it have been published. Attempts to memorize the value of π with increasing precision have led to records of over 67,000 digits. Who has time for such a time pirate.
The Great Pyramid at Giza, constructed 2589–2566 BC, was built with a perimeter of about 1760 cubits and a height of about 280 cubits; the ratio 1760/280 ≈ 6.2857 is approximately equal to 2π ≈ 6.2832. Based on this correlation, some historians concluded that the pyramid builders had knowledge of π and deliberately designed the pyramid to incorporate the proportions of a circle. Others maintain that the suggested relationship to π is merely a coincidence, because there is no evidence that the pyramid builders had any knowledge of π, and because the dimensions of the pyramid are based on other factors

#.2) Celebrate Albert Einsteins Birthday (March 14)

#.3) Celebrate that our government can agree on something.

In 2009 it became official, when House Resolution 224 of the first session of the U.S. 111th Congress was passed, designating every March 14 as a day to encourage “schools and educators to observe the day with appropriate activities that teach students about Pi and engage them about the study of mathematics.” But somewhere along the way a silent E crept in to bring us to culinary merriment.
I think I'll have some PIE, with my π.
How will you celebrate your PI day.
Don't be driving in circles.

Will Ferrell will play 8 positions in 5 different Cactus League games tomorrow.

On Thursday March 12th, Will Ferrell is going to spend the day playing all nine positions at multiple Cactus League games. There are eight games taking place on Thursday, and Ferrell will play in five of the eight games.
Will Ferrell (Rojo Johnson)
Will Ferrell (Rojo Johnson)
Wish I could take the day off work and see this guy in action.
He is a big sports fan and no stranger to appearances at major league sporting events. I am sure the people in attendance are in for an entertaining day at the ballpark. According to The Chicago Tribune, this stunt was coordinated by Major League Baseball and HBO to promote cancer awareness.
This won’t be the first time Ferrell has caused a ruckus on a baseball diamond. In 2010, Ferrell “pitched” for the Triple-A Round Rock Express in Texas under the name of “Rojo Johnson.” He caused a fake brawl and was ejected. People in the place went crazy!
So, yeah, expect this Thursday to get a bit strange.
Here is the schedule for Thursday’s games that Ferrell will likely be at:
Noon — Seattle Mariners at Oakland Athletics
1:10 p.m. — Chicago Cubs at Los Angeles Angels
2:10 p.m. — Cincinnati Reds at Diamondbacks (Ferrell will suit up for the D-Backs)
4:05 p.m. — San Francisco Giants at Chicago White Sox
6:15 p.m. — Los Angeles Dodgers at San Diego Padres
As always, if you need info on the games or homes for sale, please call or e-mail me so we can talk.
