Rehabbing Older homes for Profit?

Before you decide to Rehab an older home in the Chandler or anywhere in the Phoeinx Metro, make sure you read this blog.(this also applies across the country)
In 2008 the EPA put a rule on the books that "Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RPR) rule requires property managers, contractors and others who perform renovations for compensation in residential housing built before 1978 to be trained and certified as renovators and to use lead-safe work practices."
The EPA reached out to AAR: The Arizona Association of Realtors to make sure we are aware of this, and to inform our clients and contractors that we might refer to our clients. See attached Flyer.
